Michelle has completed her Bachelors of Education with minors in Child Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Learning Disabilities and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University.
A Kindergarten teacher in the Burnaby School District, her studies have focused around early childhood education and the way that young children develop physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally. Having this educational background allows Michelle as a dance teacher to better understand the developmental needs of young children and therefore helping to foster their developing skills.
Michelle has been dancing for the past 25 years and teaching for the past 14 years. As a dancer and teacher Michelle has accumulated numerous awards and scholarships from provincial festivals. Her love of dance and teaching shows through in her students’ accomplishments and in their growing self-confidence.
Michelle's loving and caring nature towards children is second to none. She has the ability to effectively teach and mentor children of all ages. Michelle believes that her success is measured by the success of all of her students. She looks forward to welcoming all students to the studio.
