CARLA STEWART - RAD Ballet Instructor
Carla Stewart is a fully registered and certified teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She is currently working toward her Licentiate and Advanced standing with the RAD. Carla has had over 10 years of experience teaching and entering students in RAD examinations, and over that time has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of wonderful students and their parents in the Lower Mainland.
A believer in lifelong learning, Carla attends courses and workshops locally and internationally to continue to expand on her knowledge and grow as an educator. Carla also holds her teaching certification with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, and Kindermusik International. Carla started dancing at the age of 2, and trained with many excellent teachers including those at Flora Pigeau Academy, The Goh Academy, Cameron Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Carla strives to give her students a solid technical foundation in classical ballet along with a joy and passion for the music and art form. She believes that every student can benefit from ballet class; as potential dancers, teachers, and music & dance enthusiasts. Carla is pleased to be part of the teaching staff at Precision Dance.
